Seaton Sluice

Hand drawn pen & ink artwork by Ben Holland.

Seaton Sluice is a small North East coastal village situated between Whitley Bay and Blyth.

The village is named after the salt-pans that were used to produce salt from seawater since the 13th century, and the sluice that was built to improve the harbour in the 18th century.
